Albuquerque, New Mexico. As one of the oldest cities in the United States, Albuquerque boasts a unique multicultural history and heritage. Native American, Hispanic & Latino, Anglo and other cultural influences are a part of everyday life. The famous Route 66 guides visitors through Albuquerque, from the volcanoes on the city’s far west side and continuing eastward through the University of New Mexico and the trendy Nob Hill area.
