As one of the oldest cities in the United States, Albuquerque boasts a unique multicultural history and heritage. Native American, Hispanic, Latino, Anglo, and other cultural influences are a part of everyday life. The famous Route 66 guides visitors through Albuquerque, from the volcanoes on the city’s far west and continuing eastward through the University of New Mexico and the trendy Nob Hill area.
Anyone currently in 7th through 12th grades are welcome to join us on this mission. We will only have
room for 20 students, best fit as we form our team, thus spots are NOT guaranteed.
The heart of this trip is to partner alongside outreach groups in ABQ together. We have coordinated a schedule featuring:
Projects at East Central Ministries
ECM serves the underserved communities in Albuquerque.
Helping renovate the IRRVA building
IRRVA serves refugees and asylum seekers from around the world.
Team building and small-group activities, much like a summer camp would entail.
We will drive from our church to Albuquerque and return in the same manner. Lodging will be
provided by our hosts, Sandi Presbyterian Church. We will be taking care of our own meals.
$360 all-inclusive. A $75/applicant non-refundable deposit is due at registration. A payment schedule will be released stating when the rest is due. Limited scholarship & fundraising options will be available.
